Congratulations to Tina Leazer on being named our STAR 101.5 Teacher of the Week!

On Wednesday morning, May 26th, STAR 101.5 surprised King's Elementary School 4th grade teacher, Mrs. Leazer, with news that she was being honored as our STAR 101.5 Teacher of the Week! Mrs. Leazer was nominated by her student Corinne and her mother Alisha Elliott.

"Mrs. Leazer has worked tirelessly to make this crazy COVID school year meaningful and fun for her 4th graders. Unlike most teachers, Mrs. Leazer is doing this IN the classroom while she battles not one but two serious injuries. Through all of this, she has kept a smile on her face and has offered her students the best possible classroom experience they could have this year. We are so grateful to have Mrs. Leazer as Corinne's teacher!"

Mrs. Leazer received a $101.50 check from STAR 101.5 and the Washington State Potato Commission, and a personalized plaque from Trophies2Go. Each student also received a goody bag full of prizes from STAR 101.5 and the Washington State Potato Commission.
