MT. JULIET, Tenn. (WZTV) — Country queen Dolly Parton visited a Middle Tennessee store and gave the owners and other customers quite the pleasant surprise.

Kathy and Eddie Barnes, owners of Simply Vintage Antiques, said Dolly showed up to shop at their store on Lebanon Road in Mt. Juliet last week.

Kathy says she didn't know it was really Dolly at first, but when she did, it was a total shock.

"When I first saw them come in, I was kind of doing something, and they come in the door and she got in and went to the left and I didn't actually see her real good until I moved in that direction," Kathy said. "The first thing I thought was that was somebody who looked like Dolly."

But to her surprise, it really was Dolly.

"I was just looking and I called out, 'Is that Dolly?' and she said 'yes' and turned around."

The Barnes' shared photos of the visit on social media. They said Dolly stayed about an hour, purchased items and they're delivering even more.
