Seattle rapper (and Nordstrom commercial star) Macklemore and producer Ryan Lewis are on track to have another huge year -- between achieving a gold record for their album "The Heist" and selling out huge concerts in major cities, the local musicians are cropping up everywhere. And, according to a KPLU report this morning, "everywhere" includes the MTV Movie Awards.
Representation for the duo, who have received both critical and popular acclaim for songs like "Same Love" and "Thrift Shop," have confirmed that they'll be performing at the April 14th show, hosted by "Pitch Perfect" actress Rebel Wilson.
Not sure who Macklemore is? If you attend any of the Mariners home games this summer, you'll hear his rhymes; A custom version of his song, "Can't Hold Us," is scheduled to play every time the Ms take the field this season.
