STAR 101.5's Pet of the Week with Seattle Humane: Robin, an Australian Cattle dog

Introducing the STAR 101.5 Pet of the Week! Every Wednesday, tune in to the Curt, Corine and Leonard Morning Show at 8:45am to hear about a new pet who is up for adoption through Seattle Humane.

"This week’s pet is Robin, a clever, happy-go-lucky Australian Cattle Dog. This cutie is just a year old and has tons of puppy energy that, when directed, enables him to accomplish amazing things. He would be an all-star agility athlete, tennis ball retriever, and an encouraging running buddy. (Check out the photo of him jumping!)

The other interesting thing about Robin is he’s deaf, and is actively learning sign language in our care. This actually helps reduce Robin’s stress level, but can be challenging for his human friends. Robin needs An active, dog-savvy adopter who also possesses a great sense of humor. Robin is an intelligent and motivated dog who will challenge you to keep him engaged. Because of his mental and physical needs, we’re searching for a home without young children. Robin can be paired with another friendly (and puppy-tolerant) dog in the home."

If you are interested in adopting Robin, you can contact the adoption team at 425.649.7563 or, or visit the Bellevue shelter in person (13212 SE Eastgate Way, Bellevue, WA 98005).

It's National Animal Shelter Appreciation Week!
