(WENN) -Drake has laid the blame at Kanye West's feet for Pusha T finding out about his secret son.
The Canadian rapper spoke to basketball star LeBron James and businessman Maverick Carter during an interview on HBO's "The Shop."
Drake candidly discussed his feud with Pusha, which resurfaced in May when he released Daytona - an album Kanye produced.
While Pusha accused the "In My Feelings" rapper of using ghostwriters in a song on the album, Drake fired back with his diss track, Duppy Freestyle.
Drake revealed he had visited Kanye in his recording studio in Wyoming, and showed the rapper a photo of his baby son, Adonis. He then seemingly alleged that the "Life of Pablo" hitmaker told Pusha , prompting him to out Drake as a father in the controversial diss track, "The Story of Adidon."
"I’m in Wyoming. I play him March 14. I send him a picture of my son. I tell him I’m having trouble with my son’s mother," he said.
He admitted he had recorded a response to the diss track, but the 31-year-old refused to release it, and said he had rapped "terrible things" in the song.
"I listened back to it and I was like, ‘Man, this is not something I ever want to be remembered for. This is not even a place I necessarily want to go'," Drake explained, before adding he was criticized for not releasing it.
"I would much rather live with that than the things that I was about to, the research I did, the things that I was gonna say, and the places that I was gonna go.”
While his secret son was finally revealed in "The Story of Adidon," the Toronto native praised Pusha for releasing the track.
"The song, I thought was trash, but it was a hell of a chess move," he said.
Drake, who welcomed his son with adult film star Sophie Brussaux, confirmed the fatherhood news on album "Scorpion" in June.
