"Californication" actress Addison Timlin has been cast as a young Hillary Clinton in forthcoming film "When I'm a Moth."

The biographical project will chronicle the early post-college years of the former U.S. First Lady and presidential candidate, who traveled to Alaska at 22 and worked odd jobs before starting her law career in 1969, reports TheWrap.com.

Directors Magdalena Zyzak and Zachary Cotler will take charge of the movie, which they also co-wrote.

Timlin follows in the footsteps of fellow actress Teresa Barnwell, who has frequently portrayed Clinton on TV shows like "Roseanne," "Step by Step," and "The Nanny," while "Ghostbusters" star Kate McKinnon has been famously spoofing Clinton on "Saturday Night Live" in the run-up to the November election.
