Due to demand, Macklemore adds another Seattle tour date

Couldn't get tickets to Macklemore's December 10th concert at Key Arena? Not to worry -- the local hip-hop star announced on Twitter this morning that he'd be adding another.

Macklemore, whose February pro-marriage equality single "Same Love" has been rapidly creeping back up the Billboard chart since the Supreme Court ruled the Defense of Marriage Act unconstitutional, sold out his first Key Arena tour stop in a matter of minutes.

"SEATTLE! We're honored and humbled to have the Key Arena show sell out so quickly," Macklemore tweeted, "You guys are amazing.."

The tweet was then quickly followed with the announcement.

"And since many of you couldn't get tickets, we've decided to ADD ANOTHER SHOW at KEY ARENA on Dec 11th!! It goes on-sale tomorrow at 10am!"

Macklemore will perform with producer Ryan Lewis. The pair's 2012 album, "The Heist," had sold over 843,000 as of June.

Ticketing information for the new date is available on TicketMaster.
